The Miss Washington Open and Sweeper Competitions were established to provide an opportunity for women age 18-28 who work, live or attend school in Washington State to compete in a state-wide open preliminary to the Miss Washington competition.  These competitions award four (4) titles each, who go on to compete at Miss Washington that summer. 

 

Contestants will have private interviews with two different panels of judges, and then compete at the Open competition (all contestants compete for 4 titles) and if not crowned, will compete in the Sweeper competition (where the additional 4 titles are awarded.  Private interviews are held on Saturday, with both Open and Sweeper held back to back on Sunday, the first weekend in April, in Olympia, WA.

Contestants are required to identify a mentor; someone who will assist them in preparation for the state competition, should they be crowned with an Open or Sweeper title.  More information is provided in the application link below.  Please complete the application on a laptop or PC.  It is not mobile or tablet optimized.
